Sneak Peep DAY 2 at CRAFTY SENTIMENTS New Release

Good morning are you ready for another sneak peep

Hi I am here today to show you a sneak peep of one of our fab new stamps being released on the 22nd of this month at CRAFTY SENTIMENTS. Head on over to the INSPIRATIONAL BLOG to see what the team have produced with the new stamps which are being snow cased over 3 days and today is day 2 so if you missed yesterdays then have a peeps and catch them. For my creation I have used the new stamp JUST FOR YOU and made a fab bag to hold some yummy chocolates.
Hi I have taken inspiration from my team mate Celine I guess you could say I Challenges
her last months release here a stunning bag so here is mine.
This is the finished bag

So this is how I made my bag and the products I have used.
The base is a 7cm box base made with a 3cm scored wall

Then I cut a sheet of vellum to measure 15cms x 30cms and with double sided tape i stuck the vellum to the base along the long side and up as in the picture below

I then coloured my image with my promarkers and cut it out here is a close up of it on the bag

Below i then got all the elements I needed to decorate the bag. some pink gingham ribbon , 2 small scallop circles, 1 xcut oval, 1 Tiffany frame from memory box & flowers from wild orchid

I folded the circles in half and glued to the top as the close and punched 2 holes in each which then is threaded with the satin ribbon and tied into a bow. I mounted the frame onto the oval which had been embossed with birds and swirls cuttlebug folder. I placed the image onto the right hand side and arranged the flowers on the left. Before adding this to the bag I attached the gingham ribbon to the base. Then placed the Image and frame to the centre of the bag to finish. All is left was to fill it with some yummy chocolates.

luara loves prom dress book for reference

Hi Stampers! Today I have created a Faux Book Card or sometimes known as a Book Shadow Box. This is the first time I have ever created one of these and I love how it turned out :)

If you want to create a Faux Book here are the instructions:

Cut the cardstock for your cover at 5 1/4" x 9 1/2" and then score it at 4 1/4" and 5 1/4"
The Designer Paper for the cover is cut at 4" x 5"
The Designer Paper for the Spine and inside spine is cut at 3/4" x 5"

To create your book pages you will need to cut:
2 cardstock pieces that measure 4" x 10"
2 cardstock pieces that measure 5" x 10"

You are going to score all four of these every 1/2" to the very end.
To create the book pages - take each piece and accordion fold these back and forth - be sure
to use your bone folder between each fold to get nice, crisp folds.
After you have the piece all folded - sponge the edges with ink if you wish.

Then take one long piece and one short piece and "marry" them so they make a right angle,
sliding them together so the pages alternate. Glue the outside flaps to hold the pages in place.
Add the other long and short end to create your book pages, gluing each outside flap together
until you have a full rectangle.

Place your decorated insert onto the inside back cover and then glue your book pages over it.
To create the decorated top of the pages, just cut strips of cardstock and punch one edge.
Glue down on top of the book pages, miter the corners of the two top strips in you wish.

Then just decorate as you want!
